Senator Predicts “Revolution” If Banks Don’t Lend
Dodd highlights rising public anger at credit crunch, bailout

Senator Christopher Dodd has shockingly predicted that public anger at banks’ refusal to disperse credit could lead to a “revolution,” while another analyst says government intervention could mean banks are cut out of the loop entirely.
“If it turns out that they are hoarding, you’ll have a revolution on your hands. People will be so livid and furious that their tax money is going to line their pockets instead of doing the right thing. There will be hell to pay,” Dodd told the New York Times this weekend.

US embassy in Damascus on alert
The American embassy in Syria has warned US nationals to remain alert, avoid demonstrations and prepare for the mission’s possible closure to the public.
The warning was posted Monday, Oct. 27, the day after US troops landing in helicopters raided a site near Abu Kemal in eastern Syria.
It followed a Syrian threat of “painful responses” for the American attack. The US embassy’s Web site warned that “unforeseen events could cause the embassy to close to the public.” DEBKAfile’s sources report that the embassy is preparing for extreme events, such as possibly a Syrian military siege of the embassy, violent demonstrations or even a direct attack that would force the evacuation of staff.
Those sources believe that the Assad government’s closure of the American cultural and school Monday and protest to the UN Secretary General and Security Council Chairman were only the beginning and that more extreme steps are in store in Syria and Iraq.
Following pressure from Tehran, the Baghdad government denounced the American incursion into Syria after first accusing Damascus of cross-border terror against Iraq.

Sarkozy: Obama’s Foreign Policy ‘Utterly Immature’ – Obama No Uniter
******************************************************************************************Federal judge slaps the face of voters; spits on the U.S. Constitution
Phil Berg's lawsuit to force production of Barack Hussein Obama's birth certificate is not a political game, it's a constitutional issue. The most cogent narrative, including excerpts from Judge Surrick's decision is found here. To say millions of us are outraged is putting it mildly. Enraged is more appropriate. If one reads the dishonorable Surrick's words, it becomes apparent this judge, if he is the one who actually wrote the decision, thinks we the people are too stupid to understand his outrageous remarks:
"…regardless of questions of causation, the grievance remains too generalized to establish the existence of an injury in fact. To reiterate: a candidate's ineligibility under the Natural Born Citizen Clause does not result in an injury in fact to voters. By extension, the theoretical constitutional harm experienced by voters does not change as the candidacy of an allegedly ineligible candidate progresses from the primaries to the general election."
According to this bench warmer, a candidates INELIGIBILITY to run for office doesn't present an injury to voters! We just accept fraud as eligibility! "Theoretical constitutional harm" experienced by we the people doesn't change as the fraud passes from one phase of the election cycle to another! Surrick is lost in purple haze. Typical of these weenie federal judges, when they can't find the guts to do the right thing, they take the cheap way out and try to pass the buck to the other incompetents, Congress:

Former Baathist official Nadhmi Auchi with cousin Saddam Hussein |
"Barack Obama appears to have personally benefited from funds originating in Saddam Hussein's regime," said Mideast expert Daniel Pipes.
Former Iraqi official Nadhmi Auchi bankrolled his longtime friend and business partner, Syrian immigrant and Chicago slumlord Tony Rezko, who in turn bankrolled Obama's political career before being convicted this year of fraud.
That much is known. What's not known is whether any Auchi funds aided Obama's 2005 purchase of a $1.65 million mock-Georgian mansion in the leafy Kenwood district of Chicago. On the same day, Rezko purchased an adjacent lot from the same seller.
In addition, Rezko personally toured the house with Obama before their same-day purchase of the adjoining parcels. He also advised Obama on negotiating his end of the deal.

THIS COULD BE YOU - BEING INVESTIGATED BY OBAMA
JOE THE PLUMBER - JUST BECAUSE HE ASKED A QUESTION
Tuesday, October 28, 2008 at 4:34 p.m. Toledo Police have confirmed that a TPD records clerk is accused of performing an illegal search of information related to 'Joe the Plumber.' Julie McConnell, has been charged with Gross Misconduct for allegedly making an improper inquiry into a state database in search of information pertaining to Samuel Wurzelbacher on Oct. 16. Wurzelbacher came under the spotlight after being spoken about during the final presidential debate between Barack Obama and John McCain. The inquiry into Wurzelbacher's record is a violation of department and state policy governing the use of the Law Enforcement Automated Data System. The clerk is under fire for making the inquiry for a non-law enforcement purpose. McConnell was hired by the Toledo Police Department in April 1995 and assigned to the Investigative Services Bureau. A discplinary hearing will be scheduled within the next ten days.

Obama donor ordered Big Brother probe of Joe the Plumber
State agency director authorizes child-support check on senator's critic

Following the third presidential debate, a state agency director and maximum donor to the Barack Obama presidential campaign immediately authorized a government background check of Joe the Plumber's child-support records.
Helen Jones-Kelley, director of the Ohio Department of Job and Family Services and a $2,500 contributor to the Obama campaign, permitted state employees to conduct a check on Samuel Joseph Worzelbacher, the Columbus Dispatch reported.
Now Ohio Inspector General Thomas P. Charles is seeking to determine whether at least four probes on state computers were legal.
Jones-Kelley denies the Support Enforcement Tracking System search was politically motivated and claims the check was ordered to verify that Worzelbacher was not behind on child-support payments.
While the state agency director would not share information about Joe the Plumber's record with the Dispatch, Worzelbacher reportedly lives with his 13-year-old boy, and it is uncertain whether he has ever been ordered to pay child support.
Jones-Kelley said such background checks are not unusual.
"Our practice is when someone is thrust quickly into the public spotlight, we often take a look," she said. "Our practice is to basically look at what is coming our way."
Ohio's Democrat Gov. Ted Strickland told the Dispatch his appointee, Jones-Kelly, did not authorize the check for political purposes.

Experts affirm: Ayers' wrote Obama's memoir
Scientific analyses independently find radical's mark on 'Dreams From My Father'

Independent scientific analysis by a number of leading experts supports the literary detective work of WND columnist Jack Cashill that has led him to conclude unrepentant domestic terrorist William Ayers was the primary author of important sections of Barack Obama's highly acclaimed memoir and editor of the book as a whole.
Obama's 1995 book, "Dreams From My Father," won the 2006 Grammy Award for Best Spoken Word Album and drew praise from Time magazine, which called it "the best-written memoir ever produced by an American politician."
But since July, Cashill has unveiled in a dozen columns, summarized here, his compelling evidence that the co-founder of the radical Weather Underground group – dismissed by Obama as "just a guy who lives in my neighborhood" – shaped and refined the book with his exceptional writing skill and radical ideas.
The evidence, Cashill says, "severely tests Obama's claim of a superficial relationship with the self-declared 'communist' Ayers. This appears to be a conscious and consequential deception."
Cashill points out that in contrast to "Dreams," the Obama writing samples unearthed before 1995 "are pedestrian and uninspired."
"There is no precedent for this kind of literary transformation," he writes. "It is as if a high 90s golfer suddenly showed up with his PGA card -- with no known practice rounds in between."
In a new column today, Cashill reports four different stylometric analysts now have confirmed his extensive forensic evidence, and he awaits the results from a fifth.

Report hike in gun and ammunition sales
United Press International ^ | October 27, 2008

Experts say U.S. economic conditions and the presidential election are partly responsible for an increase in the sale of guns and ammunition this year.
Data supplied by federal and state government show sales of firearms up 8 to 10 percent in 2008, continuing a trend that began in 2006, The Washington Post reported Monday.
The newspaper said interviews with dozens of gun dealers and buyers in Virginia and Maryland indicate the hike in sales appears to be driven predominantly by concerns about the election and the economy.
"Generally, we know that hard economic times always result in firearm sales," James Purtillo of Silver Spring, Md., publisher of Tripwire Newsletter, told the Post.
Gun shop owner Steve Clark of Warrenton, Va., says his customers have been buying weapons they fear will be restricted or heavily taxed.
"What I hear a lot is fear that Barack (Obama) will win the election and tax everything to the point that you can't afford anything," Eugene Proko, 51, a salesman at Clark's shop, told the Post.************************************************************************
Gun Sales Booming

Nationally, gun sales are up an estimated 10% this year. | ||||||||

COLLINSVILLE, OK -- While much of the economy is slumping, one industry may be recession-proof. Nationally, gun sales are up an estimated 10% this year. Experts say fears about the economy and the upcoming election are driving sales.
Despite the fact that both candidates have said they firmly believe in the Second Amendment, some in Green Country aren't taking any chances.
Tom Pirrone, a regular at Medlock Firearms in Collinsville, has loaded up on guns recently.
"I've purchased some, and plan on purchasing some more. It's a scary situation we're living in right now," said Tom Pirrone.
The scary situation, Pirrone says, is the potential election of Barack Obama next week. He's convinced the Democrats will push tougher gun-control measures, and it's a belief shared by other customers in Collinsville.
"Everyone is kind of in a panic I think. Well, everyone is worried about the upcoming election. They're worried about what they're going to be able to buy in the future," said Becky Medlock with Medlock Firearms.
Specifically, Medlock says the fear is that they won't be able to get their hands on semi-automatic assault rifles.
The ban on assault rifles expired in 2004, and some gun-owners worry lawmakers will take aim at re-instating it.
Even though it's deer season, Medlock Firearms says it is the assault rifles that are flying off of shelves right now.
"I guess the common agenda is better buy one while you still can," said Jason Medlock of Medlock Firearms.
It's a philosophy Tom Pirrone subscribes to. He says he won't wait to see if his worries become reality. Instead, he'll continue to stock up guns before Election Day.
"I don't think anybody has that right to take it away from us, and I believe there's going to be a big problem if anyone tries to do it," said Tom Pirrone.
Experts say people often buy firearms in times of uncertainty.
The News On 6 spoke with several Tulsa gun stores, as well. Some say assault rifles sales have also spiked. But, other stores say they haven't seen much of a change this year.

Chuck Norris advocating for the Second Amendment beside house sign that reads, 'We don't dial 911' |
World martial arts champion, longtime television and movie star and WND columnist Chuck Norris is working with the National Rifle Association's Political Victory Fund to ask voters to remember that their Second Amendment gun rights are important on Election Day.
Norris has created an ad which has been posted on the NRAPVF website explaining the importance of the issue.
"I'm Chuck Norris, a black belt patriot," the ad says. "If some thug breaks into my home I can use my roundhouse kick, but I prefer he look down the barrel of my gun."
"And millions of other law-abiding families also rely on their Second Amendment rights to keep and bear arms," he continues. "Some politicians say they support your rights but unfortunately their voting records say otherwise. Protect your rights on Election Day."
