In a Newsmax piece, Wallop, a U.S. leader on defense and foreign-policy issues, details how the Obama administration’s proposed cuts in the area of missile defense are sending the message to the world that the United States does not have the will to deter aggression. The Obama administration’s proposed defense budget cuts—particularly the deep cuts to our homeland missile defense system—are signaling North Korea and Iran that we do not have the will to counter their aggressive actions. Elusive Lucas Smith films alleged Kenyan document

A man who had claimed to have a copy of President Obama's Kenyan birth certificate, attempted to sell it on eBay and then disappeared from contact has reappeared, this time with a video of the document he claims proves Obama's foreign birth.
As WND reported, Lucas Smith, a former resident of Cedar Rapids, Iowa, and known by the eBay handle "colmado_noranja," claimed online and in phone conversations with WND to have an authentic document from Coast Provincial Hospital in Mombasa proving Obama's birth there at 7:24 p.m. on Aug. 4, 1961.
After promising to reveal the document to WND, Smith then dropped communications with a team of people offering to help him verify the document, only fueling belief the sale – and therefore the alleged document – was a scam.
Since then, various images have appeared online, purported to be Obama's original birth certificate – along with pranksters taking credit for forgeries meant to fool Americans still waiting for Obama to release conclusive proof of his purported Hawaiian birth.
Lucas Smith, however, still claims he has an authentic Obama birth certificate from Mombasa, and a video of him showing the document – which includes a close-up shot of the document's raised seal and the alleged footprint of Barack Obama – appears below:
"My name is Lucas Smith, an American," the video states. "This is the birth certificate of Barack Obama."

DEBKAfile's Middle East sources reveal here a comprehensive scheme cooked up by the Palestinian leader Mahmoud Abbas on the advice of US and British friends for deposing the Hamas rulers of the Gaza Strip and drawing president Barack Obama over to his side against Israeli prime minister Binyamin Netanyahu and Egyptian ruler Hosni Mubarak.
Abbas has written off reconciliation with the Hamas and reunification of the Gaza Strip and West Bank as a feasible goal. He also appreciates that as long as the Palestinians are split between two separate Palestinian entities, Israel has full American backing in avoiding a peace deal with the Palestinians.
This was made clear to him by American visitors to the region earlier this month, including National Security Adviser James Jones, US Middle East envoy George Mitchell and White House adviser Dennis Ross and confirmed by British foreign secretary David Miliband.
They warned Abbas that there was a limit to his leeway for serving as an illegitimate president and building illegitimate governments in Ramallah lacking recognition from a legislature dominated by Hamas.
The Palestinian leader has therefore decided to kill two birds with one stone by calling a presidential and parliamentary election for Jan. 24, 2010. This time, he will make sure the extremist Islamist Hamas does not sweep to victory as it did in 2005.
Greatly encouraged by the backing he and his would-be successor Abu Maher Ghanem won from the Fatah conference in Bethlehem this month and its international delegates, Abbas proposes to import the heads of the umbrella Palestinian Liberation Organization (PLO) from Arab states and Europe and install them in Ramallah and Jericho. This move would transform the West Bank from a Fatah-ruled territory to the world center of the PLO. He and his cabinet would thus gain legitimacy as representatives of the Palestinian people worldwide not just the 2.3 million living on the West Bank.
His stratagem takes into account that even if Hamas boycotts the vote, it will represent a minority electorate of no more than 1.3 million Gazans compared with the worldwide community which he estimates at 9 million.
If Hamas goes the other way and decides to allow the poll to take place in the Gaza Strip, thousands of international observers will secure the election against attack and forgery at polling booths in both territories.
DEBKAfile's Middle East sources disclose that Egyptian president Hosni Mubarak, the live wire in efforts to bury the hatchet between Fatah and Hamas, is totally opposed to the Abbas scheme. He too says peace talks with Israel are contingent on reunification of the two territories. But the Palestinian leader claims a Fatah-Hamas accord is unobtainable leaving the single option of a general election. Abbas is bombarding President Barack Obama in the hope of winning him round to this argument and forcing Israel to enter into peace negotiations on Palestinian terms.
He may have some explaining to do on two points: His Fatah's commitment to "armed popular revolution as the only inevitable way to the liberation of Palestinian… The struggle will not end until the elimination of the Zionist entity." T

The other was Abbas' refusal to offer an accounting for Fatah's finances and the billions of dollars received in donations from Western taxpayers over the past 20 years. He shouted down a delegate who demanded this.

Designated Iranian defense minister is wanted terrorist
Ahmadi Vadhidi, whom President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad has designated Iran's next defense minister, was head of the notorious al Qods Brigades which ordered and organized the bombing attack on the Jewish center in Buenos Aires in 1994 that left 84 people dead.
Interpol has issued an international warrant for his arrest for this crime. (See attached photo)
Al Qods is responsible for the Revolutionary Guards terrorist operations in foreign countries. For the attack on the Jewish center, Vadhidi used Hizballah operatives with whom he was acquainted from his days as commander of the IRGC's Lebanon Corps in the 1980s.
He was especially close to Hizballah's bombing and abduction expert, the late Imad Mughniyeh. Together, they plotted and executed the kidnapping of a series of high-ranking Western officials in those years, among them William Buckley and Col, Richard Higgins.
Buckley, the CIA station chief in Lebanon, was snatched in 1984, the first senior US intelligence official to be interrogated under torture by joint teams employed by Vadhidi and Mughniyeh. He did not survive the ordeal.
Four years later, the due captured Col. William Richard ("Rich") Higgins, the highest-ranking US military and intelligence officer in Lebanon at the time. He too was tortured to death in the attempt by Iranian agents to extract the secrets of US Middle East operations.
Vadhidi has been employed in recent years at home base in Tehran, latterly as deputy defense minister with responsibility for "aerodynamic development" i.e. missiles. He has also served as head of the ministry's planning department and head of the Expediency Council's political-security commission.
The Iranian president is poised to unveil his cabinet in the coming days. Composed mainly of his most brutal cronies and loyal yes-men - as well as three women for the first time - it faces the opposition of large sections of parliament who threaten to withhold endorsement.
