Fox Claims Wikipedia Whitewashes Obama's Past — Update
Barack Obama's Wikipedia entry completely omits the president's "links" to former '60s radical William Ayers, Fox News reports. And it claims the entry contains only a fleeting reference to his controversial former pastor, Jeremiah Wright.
This epic coverup was first reported by WorldNetDaily reporter Aaron Klein, who noticed that edits adding references to Ayers and Wright, among other things, were quickly being undone by Wikipedia volunteers.
Klein found it particularly alarming that a Wikipedia user called "Jerusalem21" was recently hit with a three-day wiki-suspension after twice posting the neutral and encyclopedic fact that there are "some doubts about whether Obama was born in the U.S."

Alex Jones has received a secret report distributed by the Missouri Information Analysis Center (MIAC) entitled “The Modern Militia Movement” and dated February 20, 2009. A footer on the document indicates it is “unclassified” but “law enforcement sensitive,” in other words not for public consumption. A copy of the report was sent to Jones by an anonymous Missouri police officer.

Chinese boats have deliberately harassed two American ships within the past week, according to the U.S. Defense Department. The most serious incident occurred Sunday, when Chinese ships came within 25 feet of an unarmed Navy ocean surveillance vessel in the South China Sea, and later forced the ship to come to an emergency stop.
Five Chinese civilian vessels approached the usns Impeccable in a policy of coordinated harassment, according to the U.S. Navy. Two of these ships came within 50 feet of the Impeccable, waving Chinese flags and ordering it to leave the area. Impeccable turned its fire hoses on one of the ships, but the Chinese crew members stripped to their underwear, and the ship kept moving in closer.
Impeccable radioed to tell the Chinese ships it would leave the area, but then two of the Chinese vessels stopped directly ahead of the Impeccable, forcing it to make an emergency stop to avoid a collision. The Chinese ships also dropped wood in Impeccable’s path.
A day earlier, a Chinese intelligence collection ship had radioed the Impeccable, calling its presence illegal and ordering it to leave or “suffer the consequences.”
The U.S. Embassy and the Pentagon have lodged protests with the Chinese over the incident. “We’re going to continue to operate in those international waters, and we expect the Chinese to observe international law around that,” White House Press Secretary Robert Gibbs said.
Last Thursday, the usns Victorious had a similar encounter in the Yellow Sea. A People’s Liberation Army-Navy (plan) frigate crossed the Victorious’s bow at a range of 100 yards, and a Chinese-made twin-engine turbo prop, a Y-12, buzzed the ship nearly a dozen times at low altitude.
These acts reflect an increasingly brazen and confident Chinese Navy. The Impeccable was within 70 miles of Hainan Island, where the Chinese conduct sensitive military activities—including the deployment of China’s next-generation nuclear-powered attack and ballistic missile submarines, according to some analysts. Although the United States views this area as international waters, China views most of the South China Sea as its territory. It certainly does not want an American ocean surveillance ship in the area.
Regardless, this was a heavy-handed way of dealing with the situation. China obviously does not fear American naval power. With the plan’s 60th anniversary approaching in April, China’s navy is confident. Many islands and patches of water around China are claimed by several nations. Watch for China to become more aggressive in staking its claims.
China’s military budget for this year, undergoing its formal approval process at the moment, will increase 14.9 percent over 2008. Many analysts believe the real budget is much higher. China is expected to announce plans to construct its first aircraft carrier soon. It is already bold enough to approach an American ship in this manner—and with good reason: The American ship simply slunk away.

"Three years of the siege against Hamas is ending," said the PA negotiator, speaking from Ramallah on condition his name be withheld. "There is a new policy in the Obama administration regarding Hamas. We are concerned Hamas is starting to be a legitimate player in the equation of the Mideast and the PA."
The negotiator met last week with Secretary of State Hillary Clinton. Asked by WND whether Clinton or any other U.S. official expressed direct support for opening U.S. dialogue with Hamas, the PA negotiator replied, "No. But there are troubling signs."
He pointed to recent U.S. support for a unity government between Hamas and Fatah.
"This is the first time the U.S. has supported such a unity government. There was no objection from the U.S. about Hamas joining the PA," he said.

Binyamin Netanyahu has not given up on unity government
Having failed to draw Kadima and Labor into a unity government, DEBKAfile's political sources report that Israel's prime minister-designate Binyamin Netanyahu is planning to settle for a provisional administration serving six months before calling another early election.
Loth to rest his government's stability on right-wing and religious parties (61 out of 120 Knesset members), Netanyahu prefers to take his chances on a new ballot. But he rejected the recommendation from of his close advisers to notify the president next week that he is throwing in the sponge in the belief that he can use the extra six months to good advantage.
His main consideration is that Israel expects to be embroiled in a major military confrontation in the next few months with Iran, Hamas or Hizballah – or all three at once – a compelling scenario for a national emergency government against which Kadima and Labor will find it hard to hold out.
With this eventuality in mind, the Likud leader keeping the senior portfolios of security, treasury and justice open for members of those two parties or deposited with Likud ministers who will step aside and make way for them in an emergency.
A prominent example of this tactic is the new Likud legislator, the former chief of staff Moshe Yaalon. He is penciled in for defense in the interim administration on the understanding that if Labor joins, he will step down and accept the No. 2 position. Uri Yogev, a former treasury official, likewise expects to stand down for a Labor or Kadima candidate in finance.
Netanyahu is not waiting for a war emergency; he is quietly pursuing Labor and Kadima in informal conversations with defense minister Ehud Barak of Labor and Kadima's Shaul Mofaz and Tzahi Hanegbi.
His offer of the foreign ministry to Israel Beteinu's controversial leader Avigdor Lieberman is not yet signed and sealed. The prime minister-designate calculates that if the ongoing police probe into his financial affairs culminates in an indictment, Lieberman will have to withdraw, but his party will continue to support the government.
Lieberman's exit will ease the path of Kadima and Labor to government.
Netanyahu closest circle of advisers, our political sources report, consists of his wife, Sara Netanyahu, the lawyer-politician and former justice minister, Yaacov Neeman and Likud lawmakers Reuven Rivlin, Gideon Saar and Gilead Erdan.

Dear Readers,
Some of you may not realize that Argentina, a country rich in natural resources with a generally well-educated population, has undergone an economic collapse since 2001.
The primary reasons for this collapse are corrupt politicians, and fraudulent banking institutions that colluded to put the country into massive DEBT!
It is true that Argentina is much smaller than the United States, so I am not trying to say this is a perfect parallel to our current situation. What I am saying is that the root cause of our troubles appear to be similar to Argentina’s.
I am presenting for you three short clips from a documentary (there are 12 in total, but you need only watch the first three to get the idea) that graphically details what an economic and banking collapse looks like.
These clips were originally posted on a blog by a fellow who details the daily struggle of life in present day Argentina. As you can imagine, crime is rampant, and self-reliance is key to survival.
Lying politicians, massive debt, corrupt banks…..I don’t want to be alarmist but the governmental corruption that set Argentina’s collapse in motion appears shockingly similar to what is going on here in the USA.
I sure hope we are not going down that path, but Americans like to do everything bigger and more extravagant than anyone else. Why should an economic collapse be any different?

A lawyer lobbying the U.S. Justice Department and the U.S. Supreme Court for a review of Barack Obama's qualifications to be president says a key conservative justice has hinted that another conservative justice has been voting against hearing the dispute.
According to Orly Taitz, a California attorney working through her Defend Our Freedoms Foundation on several cases challenging Obama, said she was presented with an opportunity to ask a question of Supreme Court Justice Antonin Scalia yesterday.
The issue of Obama's eligibility has been raised before the Supreme Court at least four times already but has yet to be given a single hearing. Cases have been brought by Taitz, Philip Berg, Cort Wrotnowski and Leo Donofrio.

In the last few months, dozens of U.S. courts have dismissed legal challenges to Barack Obama's constitutional eligibility to occupy the Oval Office, and even the U.S. Supreme Court has refused to hold a hearing on the evidence – but what have the courts actually cited as reasons for dismissing the concerns of millions of Americans?
Mootness, lack of jurisdiction, lack of responsibility, lack of standing, a series of "no comments" and even the fact the issue has been "twittered."
The one subject that has been avoided to date has been whether or not the president is, in fact, eligible.
So far, there have been two definitive statements on the issue that have been made public, including one from an Obama campaign spokeswoman talking about the challenges who told WND, "All I can tell you is that it is just pure garbage."
The other is from Chiyome Fukino, the director of the Hawaiian Department of Health, who issued a statement, "I as Director of Health for the State of Hawaii, along with the Registrar of Vital Statistics who has statutory authority to oversee and maintain these type of vital records, have personally seen and verified that the Hawaii State Department of Health has Sen. Obama’s original birth certificate on record in accordance with state policies and procedures."

US intelligence chief Dennis Blair sounds alarm
In testimony to the Senate Armed Services Committee, US intelligence chief Dennis Blair warned that it would be difficult to convince Iran to give up its quest for nuclear weapons by diplomatic means. By 2010, he estimated, Tehran would have enough fissile material for a weapon.
He told the committee Tuesday, March 10 that "the agencies" could not "rule out that Iran has acquired from abroad or will acquire in the future a nuclear weapon or enough fissile material for a weapon."
A few hours earlier, in Tel Aviv, military and intelligence chiefs briefed designated prime minister Binyamin Netanyahu on the options open to Israel with regard to Iran's suspect nuclear projects.
Netanyahu and Barak then retired for a private discussion about which no details were released.
At the same time, passages of the Blair testimony, the first by an official of the Barack Obama administration before the Senate, were aired. All carried disquieting import for US and Israel national security.
The intelligence director told lawmakers that Tehran might bow to a blend of "credible" incentives and "threats of intensified international scrutiny and pressures" but "it is difficult to specify what such a combination might be."
He went on to say: "Although we do not know whether Iran currently intends to develop nuclear weapons, we assess Tehran at a minimum is keeping open the option to develop them."
Blair warned: "We assess convincing the Iranian leadership to forego the eventual development of nuclear weapons will be difficult, given the linkage many within the leadership see between nuclear weapons and Iran's key national security and foreign policy objectives.
DEBKAfile's intelligence sources add that Blair's refusal to rule out Iran's acquisition of a nuclear weapon from abroad may well mean that Tehran has bought one from North Korea or acquired it on the nuclear black market.
