I have thought long and hard about writing this type of commentary but its long past due. This is certainly not the AMERICA that I come from or grew up in, most AMERICANS today are living in a fantasy world of BS.
All they seen to care about is their electronics and self gratification now. Most kids even graduating from high school do not even know who the vice president is or the sec' of defense and what makes it even worse is that they do not even care. EUROPE IS EVEN WORSE AS YOU WILL SEE "GERMANY" RISE TO A WORLD POWER WITH "NUKES"... Being a leader of the EU will give them access to FRANCES Nuclear arsenal. GERMANY does not want a democracy they want a strong leader like in the past.
My life has been very difficult and on 5-14-07 my best dog "SAM" died of a stroke (he was 16 yrs. old) and it was devastating to me, that is one reason I have not written much, most of my bloggers have been copied and pasted from other sources. I still have my big shepherd and I hardly ever leave her alone. MY MOTHER IS DYING IN A HOSPICE FACILITY, SHE IS 98 YEARS OLD. THERE IS MORE. I still take in trigger work but only for decent people. I am negotiating the sale of my tools and jigs and my parts with Brownells and I will never give up my originals but I will sell the rights to them for them to manufacture and sell.
I am AMERICAN born and my ancestry is 100% Russian. I have a bloodline of very hard people that have always struggled to survive. To tell you that my grandfather who was a Russian military man was mean is being to kind to him, he was very brutal, most of you would not understand this story. There is an expression that goes like this - SO GOES RUSSIA, SO GOES THE WORLD. When my son came back from Bosnia we talked in depth about the foreign troops he met and he told me the most brutal foreign troops he ever saw was the Russian Special Forces. Nothing has changed since I was a Kid in Brooklyn. I ALWAYS KNEW THAT NEW YORK WAS GOING TO BE HIT, THIS IS FAR FROM OVER. I MADE TWELVE DOLLARS A WEEK FOR THREE YEARS AND I HAD A BETTER LIFE IN THE 50's, NO TV, NO AIR CONDITIONING, NOTHING BUT THE BASICS. ONE OLD RADIO FOR THE ENTIRE FAMILY. WE WERE LUCKY AS WE HAD A FAN.
I got my first rifle when I was 9 years old, it was a Remington 550 and it had a 4x weaver scope and it was junk and the rifle jammed all the time. When I was 14 years old I used to carry this rifle in a soft zippered case in the streets as I had to walk 4 blocks to the subway and I carried hundreds of rounds of ammunition on me. I took 3 or 4 trains each way to go to the to MANHATTAN school of Firearms which was a shooting range and not one time ever did anyone ever stop me or question me about what I had or where I was going. My father made sure I had taken many NRA safety courses aside from what he taught me.
In todays world the young generation can not see the forest for the trees. Do they have any kind of future, I doubt it as in my opinion 90% of the existing congress is corrupt and all they care about is self gratification which = oil and power and money. What we need desperately is first faith in G-D and we must have "TERM LIMITS" for "ALL" OF CONGRESS... IF YOU DO NOT TAKE CONTROL NOW AND CONTACT EVERY SENATOR AND CONGRESS PERSON AND LET THEM KNOW YOU WILL FIRE THEM IF THEY CONTINUE TO IGNORE YOU IT WILL BE TOO LATE. Normally one does not pray for war. Usually in war the righteous in this incarnation of their lives suffer with the wicked. It is a messy business. Those who build networks of chessed institutions suffer with those who plan parades of homosexuals. Those who vote for kindness to their fellow Jews suffer with those who vote for Kadima. At first glance it seems that war is bloody and unfair.Of course, according to Rav Moshe Chaim Luzzato's classic The Way of HaShem, the righteous suffer often to perfect their souls because of sins done or imperfections fostered in previous lives. Sometimes they just suffer for the sins of the generation so that the world itself will not be destroyed by those sins. Be that as it may, War is usually Hell.
The upcoming war that is the final battles of Gog UMagog that will probably take place some time between tomorrow, the 29th of Sivan, and when Gog W. Bush leaves office in January 2009 (Winter 5769) will be no exception to this rule. It will be bloody, lo aleynu, maybe even the bloodiest war in all of history, may Heaven spare us. Yet, the Talmud in several places tells us that in the seventh year there will be war, and when we daven the shmonah esrei (18 blessing prayer), the seventh blessing is a blessing for redemption. Why is this the case?
This is so because the war in the seventh year of Gog UMagog is really the beginning of the redemption process even though Mashiach does not show up until the eighth year. The only question becomes how do we know which year of the eight year process we are in now in the year 5767. The Al Aksa Intifada began a day and a half before Rosh HaShana 5761, and Israel was condemned by the United Nations for defending itself by a vote of 92 to 6 on Hoshana Rabba 5761.
See my article on The South Asian Tsunami . It was the beginning of Israel's agony of the last generation, our Gog and Magog agony, before Gog W. is elected later that Fall. Counting seven years leads to the conclusion that our seven years are up this summer of 5767, a year which ends in a seven. The more classic interpretation, though, of the word "shvi'is" describing the seventh year is the Shmittah (sabbatical) year which is next year 5768. Rav Kaduri ztl. is quoted as saying that the Gaon of Vilna's iterpretation of the word shvi'is is just that, the sabbatical year.
The Gaon according to the Saintly Rav Kaduri even said that the seven years of Gog U Magog would begin on Hoshana Rabbah (the seventh day of the Feast of Booths) in the first year of a shmittah cycle and would conclude in the eighth year, which is the first year of the next Shmittah cycle. The seventh year would be the year of the war. The eighth year would be the year of Mashiach's timely arrival. Therefore it is no accident that while 9/11 was a week before Rosh Hashana 5762 and while 9/11 itself was therefore on the 23rd of Elul 5761, Gog launched his air war against the Taliban in Afghanistan on Hoshana Rabba 5762, the first year of a Shmittah cycle.

WAR PREPARATIONS AND WAR STRATEGY IN THE MIDDLE EAST

The Syrian army has been mobilized and is digging defensive positions. Syrian military leaders have been meeting with Iranian military leaders to coordinate war preparations. The Russians and Chinese have been sending significant arms shipments to Syria, including advanced MiG-31 fighters, Chinese-made C-802 anti-ship missiles, Metis-M and Kornet anti-tank missiles (used to stop the Israeli offensive in Lebanon last year), and sophisticated anti-air missiles. A new generation of Russian weapons, fielded after the “collapse” of the Soviet Union, have strengthened Syria’s overall military position. It is not that Syria can defeat Israel in a ground war. It is a question of improved attrition capabilities. The Israeli military has a low tolerance for attrition.
The Syrians seem to expect an attack on their country. The Syrian government is allegedly moving sensitive state archives out of Damascus. Rockets are being sent to the Hezbollah militia in Lebanon. What is going on? Is a major terrorist strike being contemplated against Israel? Will this strike involve chemical, biological or nuclear weapons? Will this strike implicate Syria? Without a simultaneous Egyptian attack on Israel from the south, Syria cannot successfully make war on Israel from the north. And yet, Syria feels that war is coming. It’s as if the Syrians know something is going to happen. Some analysts believe the Syrians and Iranians are reacting to the U.S. troop surge in Iraq. There is talk of a new clandestine U.S. strategy of tilting against Iran and Syria, of favoring Sunni groups in Iraq. The Syrians and Iranians are allies, and might be worried about an American air campaign against them. The best strategy, in reaction, would be to begin a war against Israel. The Americans must not be perceived as working directly with the Israelis against a Muslim or Arab country. Such a perception might seriously erode America’s standing with Arab allies, and further hinder the Bush administration’s effort in Iraq.
Iran and Syria may be militarily weak compared to Israel and the United States, but political cracks have appeared on the U.S. side. Washington may prove helpless. The Middle East is a powder keg, ready to explode. The Israelis and the Americans want peace. But every olive branch has proved a snare. The Syrians and their Iranian allies want blood. And blood they shall have. The Bush administration says the Syrians are “fueling the war in Iraq.” The Iranians are doing the same. These regional powers seek to benefit from America’s Iraq invasion, and they expect to expand their power when America inevitably retreats. Debka File has reported on the sudden and intensive coordination between Iranian and Syrian military leaders. Two high-ranking Iranian military delegations visited Damascus recently to coordinate plans for a future Middle East war. The Syrians and Iranians intend to “intensify their terrorist operations against U.S. and British troops.”
Iran and Syria have a mutual defense pact. Both are being supplied with Russian and Chinese weapons, and both are expecting a war by the end of summer. How will the war start? Perhaps it will begin with an American preemptive strike against Iran’s nuclear weapons program. Perhaps the troop surge has convinced them of Bush’s aggressive intentions. But the troop surge has proved disappointing. More likely, the Syrians and Iranians think that Bush is politically crippled and incapable of a major offensive. If the Bush administration were consistent and logical, and completely contemptuous of public opinion, then an attack on Syria and Iraq could occur. Some have argued that President Bush is actively preparing for a wider war in the Middle East. But this is doubtful.
The strategy of Iran and Syria, like the strategy of Muslim terrorists, is manipulated by Moscow and Beijing. It is Moscow’s timetable that carries the most weight. Moscow supplies the needed weapons, and the intelligence assessments. According to the late Alexander Litvinenko, a former KGB officer assassinated by Russian operatives last November, Moscow wants America to be bogged down in a Middle East war. Top leaders in al Qaeda are Russian agents. The Russians trained many terrorist leaders in Gaza and the West Bank. And Russia is well served by growing violence in Lebanon. Middle East conflict keeps oil prices high, and that makes money for oil-rich Russia. The American economy is thereby weakened.

Ordinance Concerning the Possession of Arms and Radio Transmitters in the Occupied Territories
1) All firearms and all sorts of munitions, hand grenades, explosives and other war materials must be surrendered immediately.
Delivery must take place within 24 hours to the closest Kommandantur [German commander's office] unless other arrangements have been made. Mayors will be held strictly responsible for the execution of this order. The [German] troop commanders may allow exceptions.
2) Anyone found in possession of firearms, munitions, hand grenades or other war materials will be sentenced to death or forced labor or in lesser cases prison.
3) Anyone in possession of a radio or a radio transmitter must surrender it to the closest German military authority.
4) All those who would disobey this order or would commit any act of violence in the occupied lands against the German army or against any of its troops will be condemned to death.
