Subject: Hi Tom

Hi Tom,
I regret I no longer listen to your gun talk radio show because you are not capable of understanding or telling the truth about the internals of currentely made models, quite frankly its all BS. You are a wonderful talker that knows nothing about the internals of the handguns you tell people to buy. ITS A CON JOB.

No one knows more than me about the internal actions of more than 100 models that I work on, in fact ask your friends like "TIGER" or "CLINT" or "ROY" about me, most all dislike me because I refuse to lie and BS people that depend on a handgun for their life.

I get sick listening to your answers about quality handguns because you will not ever say a bad word about your advertisers, its all about money and the internals of your SW handguns and Kimbers and the rest of the guns you mostly speak about are "JUNK" INSIDE. YOU CAN TAKE THAT TO THE BANK.

I have worked on about 20,000 handguns. You tell me how you change an extractor in your favorite SA "XD" pistol. I want to know.

Imagine you being in the "SANDBOX" and your extractor chips on a steel case, tell me how you change it quickly. YOU HAVEN'T GOT A CLUE WHAT YOU ARE RECOMMENDING BECAUSE ITS ADVERTISING MONEY YOU CARE ABOUT.

I have been friends with xxxx xxxxxx for 20 years and he knows that I am really an artist with metal. I am an old man now but I will never lie to anyone because money is not my G-D.

People could learn a lot from me but they are more interested in the BS they hear from people like you with a pleasing personality that know very little about internal action work on handguns.

YOU CAN ALWAYS REACH ME AT 281 565 6977... I will always speak with you with respect but its doubtful you want to know the truth because you would lose your advertising money if you told the truth, its that simple. AS OF NOW YOU KNOW VERY LITTLE ABOUT WHAT IS INSIDE A HANDGUN.

I want you to do a google search on Teddy Jacobson. Or go to YAHOO or http://www.cuil.com/

I am just tired of the BS when people depend on correct answers in defense for their lives. IT IS ALL ABOUT PROTECTION OF LIFE AND PROPERTY AND NOT SOME BS TALK SHOW HOST THAT JUST WANTS TO GET RICH.

Have a good day.

Teddy

ANSWER FROM TOM GRESHAM, Received 9-3-08 - TOTAL BS

Hi, Teddy:

Sorry for the delay in answering your email, but we have been a little
busy here in Louisiana with Hurricane Gustav.

Isn't it great that we live in a free country where you can listen or
not listen to any broadcast you choose?

I'll keep bringing new people into the shooting sports, talking about
gun safety and shooting instruction, giving the inside story on gun
rights and firearms politics, and interviewing interesting people from
the world of shooting (competitors, manufacturers, gun rights
activists, etc.). My mission is simple: To bring more people into
the world of shooting and to change the way guns and gun owners are
viewed in America.

Best regards,

Tom Gresham

ANOTHER EMAIL FROM TOM GRESHAM

Oh, Teddy . . .

I already saw that.

You don't want to have a conversation or a discussion. You just want
to rant.

Enjoy yourself.

Tom Gresham

MY RESPONSE TO TOM GRESHAM SENT VIA EMAIL:

YOU DO NOT WANT TO LEARN, YOU JUST WANT ADVERTISING MONEY SO YOU CAN CRY ALL THE WAY TO THE BANK.

I AM TELLING THE TRUTH AND I GET THOUSANDS OF HITS PER DAY, SO LET THE GUN OWNERS DECIDE FOR THEMSELVES WHO HAS CREDIBILITY.

Regards,

Teddy

ADDED NOTE: TOM, PLEASE EXPLAIN THE PHOTOS SHOWN ALONG WITH THE PARTS ON THIS BLOGGER TO YOUR LISTENERS. A PICTURE IS WORTH 1000 WORDS. I ACCEPT NO MONEY FROM ANY COMPANY TO EXPLOIT THE HONEST GUN OWNER FOR HIS SAFETY AND THE PROTECTION OF LIFE AND PROPERTY AND ABOVE ALL HIS "FAMILY". I GO WITH MY G-D. I CLING TO MY BIBLE AND I TELL THE TRUTH. I ALSO SEAL MY PRIMERS.

Sen. Barack Obama with Rev. Jeremiah Wright

Sen. Barack Obama's controversial former pastor Rev. Jeremiah Wright re-surfaced yesterday, delivering a guest lecture at a Texas church in which he made racially, sexually charged comments regarding Obama's bid for the White House.

"This ordinary boy just might be, come November the 4th, this ordinary boy from a single parent home with a daddy from Kenya and a mama from Kansas. This ordinary boy just might be the first president in the history of the United States to have a black woman sleeping at 1600 Pennsylvania, legally," Wright said at downtown Houston's Wheeler Avenue Baptist Church.

According to the Houston Chronicle, Wright has been a regular guest minister at Wheeler church for more than 15 years, although he canceled a scheduled appearance in March citing security concerns.

With two political conventions and a killer hurricane on its way, no one is looking at the Middle East. A force play by Condi Rice is being laid out for Ehud Olmert, and Mahmoud Abbas to divide Jerusalem and give away all the hill country of Judea and Samaria to the enemies of both Israel and the United States.

Rice is pushing very hard and putting all the pressure she can to get Olmert and Abbas to sign papers committing the next Israeli Government to keep that agreement. We all know that Olmert has almost a “0” approval ratting in Israel with no mandate to sign any agreement. Abbas has no power and no influence with the so-called “Palestinian people” to add insult to injury Bush has less than a 20% approval rating. We have here three failed leaders trying to do all they can to destroy little Israel, and using Rice as their tool to do the dirty work for them.

The day that Bush forced Sharon to destroy Gaza and make over 9,000 Jews in Israel homeless things have gone terribly wrong in the United State. Katrina was the opening call from God to repent and stop trying to divide Jerusalem. Gen. 12:3. Today we see Rice here with her final push under orders from President Bust to force Olmert and Abbas to sign papers that could potentially destroy Israel.

Today we also see another killer hurricane heading once again to New Orleans, even before it has hit land the entire city has been evacuated. I also think there is some interest in the fact that it’s coming with a Russian name Gustav.

We used to say maybe this or that would made Bush wake up, but the truth is he believes the Church has replaced Israel and he simply does not see it through God’s eyes or for that mater through the eyes of a real Christians. I could go on and on, but over the past few years I’ve said it all several times. All I can say now is God have mercy on the United States of America for it hasn’t seen anything yet.

Biden: Liar, liar, pants on fire

“I would not accept it if anyone offered it to me. I would much prefer to stay as Chairman of the Foreign Relations Committee.”

Security officials expressed concern Monday over statements reportedly made by US Democratic vice presidential candidate Joseph Biden regarding Iran’s nuclear program.

Army Radio reported that the Delaware senator was heard saying in closed conversations with Jerusalem officials three years ago that he was firmly opposed to an attack on Iran’s nuclear facilities.

Biden, the chairman of the Senate Foreign Relations Committee, reportedly claimed that Israel would likely have to come to terms with a nuclear Iran. He reportedly expressed doubt over the effectiveness of economic sanctions imposed on the Islamic Republic and said he was against the opening of an additional military and diplomatic front, saying that the US had more pressing problems, such as North Korea and Iraq.

Rove: Obama's inexperienced; Biden's a 'big, blowhard doofus'

MINNEAPOLIS -- Maine's Republican delegation got a surprise visit from former White House political operative Karl Rove at its convention breakfast this morning.

During his speech, he talked up John McCain's Republican presidential bid and criticized Democratic nominee Barack Obama for his inexperience.

When the topic of running mates came up, he referred to U.S. Sen. Joe Biden (D-Del.) as a "big, blowhard doofus."

Later, a questioner asked about the economy in the context that the Democrats paint the country as being in a great depression. Before Rove answered, he asked: "Is there press in the room?"

Rove said that the housing values are dropping because they were artificially inflated during the housing boom. The economy is growing, he said, with a pattern of job creation.

The current problems came up because of risky behavior by private industry under an implied promise that the government would bail them out.

"It was brought on by risky behavior where government made a promise to private individuals who went out and made themselves very, very rich by risky practices that have put our economy at risk."

Rove played up McCain's candidacy in his speech, telling the story about him being a prisoner of war in Vietnam. McCain was told to go early because he was the son of an admiral, but he chose to stay because there were others in line in front of him to get out.

He also told a story of Cindy McCain adopting a child with health problems from Mother Teresa's orphanage.

He said Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin (R) was a risky choice for vice president for the Republicans, but she will help McCain in certain geographic areas.

He touched on Obama's inexperience, and said his speeches are a result of targeted polling and focus groups.

"Barack Obama has spent four years in the Senate, and he spent two of those running for president," Rove said.

The McCain campaign will work hard in Maine and expend resources in the state, he said. Rove acknowledged that the Republicans do have trouble in the Northeast.

He said that the problems were slow in coming and will take time to solve. The first step is re-electing U.S. Sen. Susan Collins (R-Bangor).

"It strikes me that having an outdoors woman who is willing to take on the good ol' boys is something that might be well received in the Northeast," Rove said.

He said they campaigned hard in 2000 and 2004 in the Northeast and will continue to do so this year.

"I want to go out and fight for things in places that Republicans don't always win," Rove said.

Britain Under Cyberattack

September 2, 2008 From theTrumpet.com

The UK is at war every day.

Vital computer systems come under attack thousands of times a day in Britain, according to the government’s security minister. Networks controlling the vital arteries of any modern nation, such as electricity, water supplies and telecommunications, are being hit in an unseen cyberwar waged against Britain every day by criminals and terrorists, some of whom are backed by foreign states.

“If you take the whole gamut of threats, from state-sponsored organizations to industrial espionage, private individuals and malcontents, you’re talking about a remarkable number of attempted attacks on our system—I’d say in the thousands,” British Security Minister Lord West of Spithead told the Times. “Some are spotted instantly. Others are much, much cleverer.”

The Times writes:

Intelligence organizations such as MI5 have given warning of the threat of state-sponsored “cyberespionage” from countries such as Russia and China, but this is thought to be the first time that the government has quantified the extent of the threat to the nation’s networks, furthering the prospect of more widespread computer-based “warfare.”

According to Lord West, the most serious threat is that terrorist-backed hackers may break into networks such as the National Grid, which administers all of Britain’s electricity supplies and is heavily reliant on computers. Defense companies are also among those most at risk of attack.

Security analysts warn that Britain is in a very dangerous position. “We’re building this house of cards at the moment—connecting elements of our financial systems, as well as the systems which control nuclear power or water distribution, to the Internet, and it’s a very open environment,” said Earl Zmijewski, an analyst with the Internet intelligence company Renesys. “I can launch an attack on you from anywhere.”

“Most companies are not aware of the threat, and have an unreasonable faith in their own security systems,” warns Paul Vlissidis, an analyst with IT security firm ncc Group.

It is not just Britain that is at serious risk. The former chief strategist of Netscape recently wrote the TrumpetNot a single hand went up!” to say how bad the situation is in the United States: “At this point in time, the majority of the U.S. is not prepared for a large cyberattack,” he wrote. “Businesses are the least prepared. I recently spoke at an event for Business Continuity Planning Professionals. I asked those in attendance to raise their hand if their disaster recovery of business continuity plans addressed the threat of a cyberattack.

Imagine the chaos if electricity, mobile and landline communication and the Internet were all shut down together. If this happened for any length of time in a major city, the army would have to be called in to airlift food to the masses.

Yet, a cyberstrike against civilian targets would be nowhere near as devastating as an all-out cyberattack on a nation’s military.

Is such a thing possible, or even plausible? Read “Target: America” and “America’s Achilles Heel” for more.

Banks: Dominoes Ready to Fall

September 2, 2008 From theTrumpet.com

Many of the world’s elite banking houses are tottering on the edge. What does this portend for the global economy?

Behind the closed doors of private boardrooms in the tallest skyscrapers in New York City, London, Frankfurt and elsewhere, economic history is being made.

By private invitation, some of the most respected financial analysts and bankers in the world have repeatedly assembled for secret economic summits.

Why?

Some of the reasons you already know. The U.S. dollar—long thought of as the most stable and important global currency—has been devalued. Exchange rates are in chaos: The opec dollar pegs are buckling, and now other currencies like the euro may be threatening to do the same. Gold has broken the $1,000-per-ounce barrier, a sign that faith in the fiat economic system is wavering. Meanwhile, oil prices hit $140 per barrel before plummeting back to $110, and gas prices are crimping consumer spending. Food staples have shot up by multiples, and rationing is occurring in many parts of the world. Consumer confidence is down to all-time lows. These are very scary, very real problems.

But the agenda for the world’s banking giants is much more specific: how to save their own skins and end the global credit crunch before the international economy breaks down. No easy solution has yet been found, and financial institutions continue to fail.

But it is not the fact that a couple of banks have failed that is causing the worry.

“There’s a serious banking crisis somewhere in the world approximately once every 10 years,” writes Jeremy Warner for the New Zealand Herald. Then, “every 30 or 40 years” there is a really big one like the Great Depression, or the stock market crash of 1973-74, which saw the Dow plunge 45 percent.

The worry this time is that what is occurring is far bigger—a once-in-an-80-or-100-years-type event—or worse.

For example, economist and university professor Nouriel Roubini—a man Barron’s once compared to the Prophet Jeremiah, whose warnings to ancient Israel went unheeded—is again warning that the worst is still ahead.

Roubini’s prescient words carry more weight today than they did just over a year ago, before the banking sector began its meltdown, but he is still largely ignored by the public. According to Roubini, the ensuing recession is about to help kill off hundreds of banks. Looking at America’s “medium-sized regional banks, a good third are in distress,” and half of the group could go bankrupt, he recently told Barron’s. He also warned that big banks were facing collapse too, although the U.S. government might intervene to try and prop them up, he says.

The losses keep piling up as the damage spreads.

At first, the banking problems were “contained” to risky subprime mortgages and wouldn’t spread into the economy, the public was assured. Maybe, at a maximum, there would be a couple hundred billion in losses, it was estimated.

Then catastrophe struck the investment banking sector. The Federal Reserve in conjunction with JP Morgan Chase announced a hastily constructed backdoor takeover of investment bank Bear Stearns. According to analysts, if Bear Stearns had failed, the whole banking system could have come tumbling down with it. Damage estimates leaped to the $500 billion range.

Just months later, another bank bit the dust. Pasadena-based IndyMac bank failed, burning up approximately 8 percent of the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation’s reserves in one fell swoop. Days later, it was announced that Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac, the two gigantic lenders, which hold approximately half of all U.S. mortgages, were in need of government assistance to keep functioning.

It is evident the damage was not contained after all. Now, the losses are spreading up the financial food chain. This is no longer just a “subprime” crisis, “this is the crisis of an entire subprime financial system,” says Roubini.

So far, total system-wide losses admitted to have reached at least $480 billion. But this number may be a fraction of what is coming.

Almost a half-trillion worth of prime adjustable-rate mortgages (arms) will reset this year, vastly exceeding subprimes, notes analyst Jim Willie, editor of the Hat Trick Letter. Many of these loans came with low teaser rates, or with clauses that let the home owners only pay the interest on the loan as long as they maintained a certain amount of equity in the home. But now many of these loans are resetting, often with monthly rates 50 percent higher than previous levels. In comparison to the subprime loans, which set off the banking crisis in the first place, the volume of prime arms is over five times larger.

More mortgage delinquencies are on the way.

Then there are all the commercial real-estate loans, home equity loans, credit cards, student loans, auto loans and industrial loans that are showing signs of increasing delinquency. The impact on balance sheets could be severe.

It is these future unannounced write-downs—now projected to be at least in the 1-to-2-trillion-dollar range—that are keeping industry insiders up at night. It is no wonder that the banking sector remains frozen, with banks, desperately trying to raise reserves and largely unwilling to lend out money to each other, in fear of who could be next to fall.

And don’t forget Fannie and Freddie, which, according to an article by Don A. Rich at the Ludwig Von Mises Institute, will most likely end up costing taxpayers another $1.2 trillion—a figure approaching 10 percent of America’s gross domestic product!

The U.S. banking crisis could now be nearing critical mass: where the credit crunch starts feeding on itself. Bankers are losing the ability to stop it. Bank failures have led to reduced credit available to individuals and corporations, which means even healthy businesses don’t have the access to money they have come to rely on. Thus, more loan defaults will occur, and consequently, more pressure will be exerted on bank finances. Wash, rinse, and repeat.

And unlike previous bank crises, today’s global financial institutions are bigger and more intertwined than ever. That means the rest of the world is in trouble too.

“On the world stage, a tragedy has become apparent in recent weeks,” says Willie. “The entire Anglosphere bank and economic systems are imploding.”

“The United States, the United Kingdom, Ireland, Australia and New Zealand are suffering from critically wounded banking systems, led by housing markets,” he says. Canada is not much better off.

But the basic cause of the current crisis is quite readily discernible to any student of history—and so is the inevitable result. Even though each banking crisis in history has been different in nature, they all share one common element: greed.

When the good times roll, there is a collapse in lending standards. Everyone is getting rich, and lending and borrowing money is the perceived ticket to easy street.

The result is a big debt overhang that cannot be sustained and must either be written off, as is now occurring with vigor in the Anglosphere economies, or inflated away.

The bank write-downs are only beginning, and failures will become commonplace: “It will be one domino, then another until you think it has gone on for a century,” says investor Bob Moriarty. “We have entered the Domino Depression.”

Like it or not, we are entering uncharted territory. The world’s brightest financial minds have failed to fix the system. America’s and much of the Anglosphere’s banks are collapsing.
